PUSR is the state authority for the care of the cultural heritage in the Slovak Republic. It is responsible for the Slovakian UNESCO world heritage nomination of the Slovakian Danube Limes as world heritage site. The task of PUSR is to provide experiences/best-practice from their sections of the Roman Danube Limes, to define the world heritage site (core and buffer zones) and to develop the management plan based on common standards. |

The IÖG possesses long-term research and dissemination experience in Austria. (3 experts of ÖIG have participated in the Culture 2000 FRE-Frontiers of the Roman Empire.) ÖIG is providing to the consortium a senior consultant experienced in the field of financial project management and expertise from Austrian Limes. It co-ordinates the international expert network/workshops. Opinion forming in Austria is also a capital aim and showing best practice on a part section to demonstrate the viability of a nomination in Austria. | |

DLK is the competent authority to co-ordinate the federal activities in DE at the Bavarian Danube Limes, the ORL (Upper German/Raetian Limes which is allready a UNESCO world heritage site) and the Main Limes as DLK is a independent authority formed by Bavaria, Hesse, Baden-Württenberg Rhineland Palatinate. It is responsible for provide expert experience and best practice concerning world heritage management plan (up-date of the ORL management plan, 3 dimensional recording of the core and buffer zones) and opinion forming in Bavaria. |

Antiquity of Southeastern Europe Research Center, Warsaw University |
The Antiquity of Southeastern Europe Research Center (ARC) organizes and conducts excavations, as well as early phases of conservation work on various artifacts under research. It participates in publishing the results of the investigations and actively cooperates in preparing seminars, conferences and exchange programs for the international scholarly community. The Center currently conducts research on a limes site: Novae in Bulgaria. In the project it contributes long-term experiences on the lower Danube Limes and co-ordinates the production/dissemination of the printed information (book, folder) of the international scientific part. |

The Archeaological Department of the University of Pécs has researched the Roman frontier heritage all over Hungary led by Prof. Visy. City of Paks |
City of Paks is proprietor of "Romkert", the archaeological park presenting the remains of the Roman fort Lussonium. In past, the city has supported the excavations on the sites of Lussonium. The team involved provide their experience in archaeological site management. Their task is to show best practice to manage a Roman Limes site and present a site including related exhibition places (museum, lapidarium) within the prospective UNESCO world heritage site. |
